Ohio Latin teachers are invited to come together for professional discussion and collaboration on best practices for student learning, curriculum design, and instruction and assessment strategies in the Latin classroom.
- Goals of this summit:
- Examine the current methodologies and practices in Latin education and discuss how to integrate a variety of strategies successfully in the classroom.
- Preview the revised 2020 Ohio Learning Standards for World Languages and Cultures, and determine how Latin curricula can align to the standards.
- Brainstorm ideas for adding Latin-specific ideas, resources and strategies into the ODE World Language Model Curriculum.
