Dear Members of the Ohio Classical Conference,
With the Centennial Celebration of the Ohio Classical Conference (OCC) behind us, the OCC Executive Committee and a small group of OCC members have been working on a revised version of the organization’s constitution. The goal has been to streamline the document, bring it up to date, and rewrite it to reflect the realities of the present moment in our organization. We finished our draft in July of this year. Now we plan to put the revised constitution up for a vote at the annual meeting of the Ohio Classical Conference on Saturday 14 October 2023 on the campus of Columbus Academy in Gahanna, Ohio.
Believing that OCC members would want to read the revised document in advance of the meeting and the vote, we have posted both the old version of the constitution and the revised version on the OCC Website. Moreover, we have scheduled a webinar on Tuesday 22 August 2023 at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom and invite all members to attend, hear about the revisions, ask questions and make comments before the vote in October. To register for the webinar, please follow the invitation that appears at the end of this message.
