OCC CENTENNIAL MEETING, SAT. OCT 15th

Dear OCC Member,

There is still time to register for the Centennial Meeting this coming Saturday 15 October on the campus of Columbus Academy in Gahanna, Ohio. Join faculty and students from across the state for a full day of activities that includes both an undergraduate academic panel and a distinguished panel of scholars speaking on the topic “Ex machina, ex magia: ‘Robot’-like creatures in ancient myth, ritual, and engineering,” Steven Tuck ‘s Vergilian lecture, a read through of Aristophanes’s Acharnians that includes a discussion of the historical context based on Thucydides, and much more! Join us as we chart our way into a new century of study of all aspects of Greek and Roman language and civilization.
