Press Release: OCC Centennial Meeting

Classicists at all levels, teachers and students from K-12, undergraduate through graduate school, throughout the state of Ohio are cordially invited to celebrate the centennial of The Ohio Classical Conference on 14 – 15 October 2022 on the campus of Columbus Academy in Gahanna, Ohio. The centennial meeting will begin with a festive dinner on Friday 14 October where colleagues can come together to reconnect and network. Saturday 15 October will feature a public lecture by Madeline Miller, author of Circe and The Song of Achilles; a Vergilian lecture by Professor Steven L. Tuck; an academic panel on Homer, technology, and theurgy; an undergraduate paper session; a staged reading and workshop of Aristophanes’s Acharnians, and more. Registration will open early in fall 2022.
