The Charles J. Ping Institute, ” Studying Latin Manuscripts through the Ohio University Collection”

The Charles J. Ping Institute for the Teaching of the Humanities will be offering an online workshop for high school teachers, ”Studying Latin Manuscripts through the Ohio University Collection,” on February 19, 2022 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. This workshop will introduce participants to the basic elements of medieval Latin texts by examining selected leaves held in the Ohio University special collections.

Dr. Neil W. Bernstein (Professor of Classics) and Dr. Miriam Intrator of Ohio University (Special Collections Librarian) will be leading the session.

The workshop is free and will be limited to 15 participants. Certificates will be available for participants to earn contact hours through their local LPDC. You can download the flyer with more information and registration instructions here.
