A Message From Timothy Wutrich of CWRU

Dear Fellow Ohio Classicists,

Following up on a discussion held in Cleveland back in April, the CWRU Department of Classics has established a Meetup for the purpose of performing Greek and Roman Drama and Epic. Our initial project will be to stage scenes from Aeschylus’s Agamemnon early in the fall 2016 semester. We hope that this will inspire new discussion about Greek drama and the philosophical questions it raises. We also hope that the performance will inspire Northeast Ohio teachers and high school students to participate in the annual City Dionysia on the CWRU campus this November. For information about the meetup, follow this link

or contact Timothy Wutrich by phone (216-368-6026) or e-mail (trw14@case.edu). Details about CWRU’s City Dionysia will be available soon.”
