The 11th Annual City Dionysia (co-sponsored by the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities)

The 11th Annual City Dionysia competition will take place on Saturday, November 15, 10:30 AM – noon at CWRU’s Strosacker Auditorium.

The City Dionysia is an opportunity for regional and state high schools to compete for cash prizes via a 15-minute performance of a classical play; the 2014 City Dionysia will feature Euripides’ Medea.

A keynote address will be given on Friday, November 14, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at CWRU Clark 309 by Dr. Mary-Kay Gamel, Professor of Classics, Comparative Literature, and Theatre at University of California Santa Cruz.
