John Carroll University, Castellano Scholarship

Latin teachers,

Please encourage your students to apply for the four-year, full-tuition Castellano Scholarship in Classics at John Carroll University.  In a time of great anxiety about the cost of college and the future of the humanities, this scholarship expresses the university’s continued commitment to support excellent students of classics.  The successful applicant must have at least three years of high school Latin and must commit to majoring in classical languages at John Carroll; most Castellano scholars pursue a second major of their choosing as well.

Information about the scholarship, including instructions for how to apply, can be found at: http://sites.jcu.edu/language/pages/scholarship-and-awards/castellano-scholarship/.  Please direct any questions to Gwen Compton-Engle (gcomptonengle@jcu.edu, 216-397-1969).
